The All Service Academies Ball is held annually to formally recognize and honor the choice made by young Cadets and Midshipmen from western Pennsylvania as they embark on careers serving and protecting our country by attending one of the 5 U.S. Service Academies. These academies develop future leaders for our armed forces. Many of these young men and women go on to serve their country as leaders in all elements of our society. Particularly when America is at war, it is gratifying to meet these talented young people who have accepted the difficult challenges of our service academies.
